Hi, you are wondering why the fuck your tablet is not working with sai. Of course, there could be millions of reasons and very few ways of fixing it. I stumbled upon this years ago and to my surprise it works for others just not everyone. If this does not work please look at the suggestions at the very bottom. Note: Newer tablets don't work well with old Sai and this does not fix " Drivers not working/running" issue.

To be clear this is to help Wacom Tablets users and few other brands. If your tablet company does not date back to late 2000's then there is a big chance this will not work. I suggest to those who have newer tablets to check the drivers or to go to "Services" to stop all the tablet programs and start them up again. Another thing that has worked is copying sai main folder and paste it. Using the Copy might work but other than that I cannot help much. For those who have updated windows (8 and 10) Please put Sai's Compatibility to Windows Vista(Service Pack 2).

Tutorial

Follow all steps, you can change the settings back to your liking afterwards.

Step one- Open sai tool paint and tablet program.

Step two- Go through all the brushes and put min size to 0 on all brushes. Check all settings on your tablet and if they are all correct. Please close the tablet program and continue on. Unplug your tablet's cord or connection to computer.

step three- Click Other (o)>Option (o)

step four- On digitizer click option mouse instead of pen or vice versa.

Step five- Put smoothing/stabilizer to 0

Step six- Exit out of sai and close all programs related to your tablet using the Task manager processes

Step seven- Restart your computer

Step eight - Do step three again when you have sai open and your tablet can be plugged in again.

step nine- On Digitizer click pen option and then okay.

step ten- Test to see if this is working.

This will work if you have the hacked or paid version however this might not fix anything. If it didn't please check your tablet and it's cord. Look for any updates in tablet programs or look at your firewall.
